Abstract
This research was based on observations of UNC Greensboro speaking center alumni who became teachers upon graduating. The article focused on techniques these alumni used that differ from the traditional heirarchal teaching pedagogy. The research elludes to the unique factors that set speaking center alumni apart from other teachers who lack experience in a communication center.
